1.  How do I become a Challenge Basketball member?

If you are interested in becoming a player, coach, or booster for the Basketball Program complete the Challenge Prospect Form.

 2. How is Alabama Challene Basketball classfied?

Challenge Basketball is a non-profit, AAU member organization formed to provide opportunities for amateur male basketball players to compete at the highest possible level.

 3. What are the players´ expenses?

The Challenge Players will be responsible for their personal expenses only.  The Challenge Organization will provide food, lodging, and travel for its players.  Fundraising activities may be requested for team members to off set some major tournament costs.

 4. What are "Exposure Tournaments?"

Exposure tournaments are tournaments where college coaches will be in attendance to evaluate and recruit potential players.  One of our program’s main goals is to provide exposure opportunities for those athletes who desire to compete at the college level.  The Alabama Challenge will attend several exposure tournaments where collegiate coaches will be present.  These tournaments will give our players an opportunity to showcase their talents.  Top Challenge players will be selected to participate in high level shoe company camps such as adidas, Nike, or Reebok.  Assistance to other camps will be provided to other players who demonstrate the ability and desire to attend a development camp. 

 5. In what type of volunteer activities are parents and players required to participate?

Volunteerism is the foundation that has contributed to the success of Alabama Challenge Basketball.  There are many ways to volunteer for the Challenge.  These include becoming a team representative, securing gym space, fundraising or volunteering to work a tournament.  Tournament volunteers include site directors, timers, scorekeepers, admission workers, concession staff, etc.
