Alabama Challenge Basketball was created in 1992 as an organization of coaches and parents committed to creating, building, and maintaining a tradition of basketball excellence within the State of Alabama.  Since its’ inception, the primary objective of the Alabama Challenge Basketball Program has been to provide “a positive learning experience for young men” through a healthy and wholesome atmosphere, created by a staff committed to building self-esteem and self confidence in each player.

The Alabama Challenge Basketball Program is convinced that our basketball players:  (1) must learn the basic skills and principles of the great sport of basketball and then be able to execute and apply those concepts in real game situations, (2) understand the importance of teamwork, mental attitude, and tremendous drive to succeed, (3) believe in playing together, (4) follow a progressive system of play through our basketball program.

The annual cost to sustain our program is approximately $75,000 annually.  This covers the cost of equipment, team uniforms, tournament entry fees, administrative costs, and travel expenses.  We are asking for your help to defray these costs by becoming a Sponsor of the Alabama Challenge Basketball Program.  Please consider this opportunity to support the youth of the State of Alabama.  When you invest in Alabama Challenge Basketball, you invest in the future of the youth in our state!

Alabama Challenge Basketball teams consist of a select group of young men who have an opportunity to play competitive basketball throughout the United States of America.  We are asking for your support to help these young men reach both their individual and team goals.  Alabama Challenge Basketball is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, and all contributions are tax-deductible.  With your generous contribution, these young men will move closer to being able to actively participate in the required national and invitational tournaments to gain access to the best exposure available nationwide.  Your contributions will help support travel, lodging, team uniforms, and tournament expenses.  For each donation, the Alabama Challenge Basketball Program will provide you or your company with our 501 (c) (3) number for tax purposes.
